Once again we are arranging Havnecup. A free fishing competition in Nordhavn on the 19th of October from 9.30 to 15.30. We hope to see you there!
Fishing Copenhagen is proud to arrange the streetfishing competition Havnecup for the second year in a row. Havnecup is a five hour cup with some simple rules. The anglers catching the longest cod win.
Last year there was 78 participants, and beginner Patrick Morell won the cup with a 66 cm cod.
Where can you fish
This year we have gotten special permit from some of the local quay owners meaning that we can fish some more places than normal. Here you can see, where you can fish.
Program
9.30-10.30 – Registration of participants by Portland Towers.
9.30-15.00 – Fishing.
15.00-15.20 – Come and show your catch of the day at Portland Towers.
15.20-15.30 – The winner is found and prizes are given.
Rules
To make the competition equal, it is only allowed to use one rod.
Catch and release is also allowed, if you have a photo with your fish, a measuring tape, and a newspaper from the date. You can find all the rules for the Havnecup in Danish here.
Prizes
Once again, Sport Dres is the main sponsor of the event, and they will bring cool products from companies such as Deeper, Savage Gear, Shimano and much more for the winners. Maybe you will become one of them?
